Although we aspire to one day release the code under MIT License, we still use Tiny UML under the hood for diagram drawing and therefore we must release it under GLP for the time being. We hope to replace this library soon and change the license then.
The journey of developing Menthor Editor started as a colaborative project at NEMO, which resulted in OLED (OntoUML Lightweight Editor). We took the matter of refactoring the code to our own hands and now we open it again with a better approach to management.
Having the source code avaiable to everyone is aligned with Menthor's efforts to empower the OntoUML community and allow new research to flourish. We would like to take the opportunity to invite anyone interested in its development to join us.
